This proverb reminds us that even though things may change or disappear, our identity and legacy can still live on.
In the case of a river, even if it dries up, its name will still be remembered. This is because the river has left its mark on the land, and its story has been passed down through generations. In the same way, our lives may change and come to an end, but our legacy can live on through our words, our actions, and the people we touch.
