The Proverb says: "A tiger does not need to boast that it is a tiger."
African proverbs are a window into the African way of thinking. They are often laced with wit and wisdom, and they provide a unique perspective on life. The Proverb says: "A tiger does not need to boast that it is a tiger." This proverb is about confidence. It is saying that you do not need to announce your greatness to the world. Everyone already knows that you are exceptional. You can simply go about your business and let your actions speak for themselves. This is an important lesson for all of us, regardless of where we come from. We should all strive to be tigers in our own lives.

Title: If A Donkey Kicks You And You Kick Back, You Are Both Donkeys | African Proverbs | AFIAPodcast
Greetings Village!
#DailyAfricanProverbs takes us to #Gambia
The Proverb says: "If a donkey kicks you and you kick back, you are both donkeys."
African proverbs offer guidance on how to live a good life. Today's proverb teaches you that revenge is never the answer. When someone wrongs you, the best thing you can do is to move on and let go of the anger and resentment. This is not always easy, but it is the best way to avoid becoming like the person who harmed you in the first place.
African proverbs offer a wealth of wisdom that can help us to live our lives in a positive and productive way.

The Proverb says: "One should never rub bottoms with a porcupine."
African proverbs are a centuries-old African Wisdom Tradition. African proverbs are not only incredibly insightful, but they are also incredibly practical. This particular proverb is about the importance of choosing your friends wisely. Porcupines are not known for being particularly friendly animals, and so this proverb is cautioning against rubbing bottoms with someone who is likely to cause harm. African proverbs often contain deep truths that can be applied to many different situations in life, and this one is no exception. Choose your friends wisely, and avoid those who are likely to cause you harm.

The Proverb says: "It is the soil that knows that the mouse's baby is ill."
African proverbs are still very much alive today. These short, wise sayings are often used to teach lessons or offer advice, and they can be found in every corner of the continent. Zimbabwe is no exception, and the African proverb "It is the soil that knows that the mouse's baby is ill" is just one of many that originated in this country. This particular proverb is used to warn against being too trusting, as even the most innocuous-seeming person may have hidden knowledge or ulterior motives. In other words, it pays to be cautious and to always be aware of what others may be hiding.
My guest for this episode is Kiden who is a South Sudanese - American artist, poet and entrepreneur. Kiden was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. Kiden’s musical journey started as a youth joining choirs in church and school. During that time she learned about different styles of music and picked up the violin, flute, guitar and keyboard. As a podcast host Kiden began her work during the pandemic by recording Junubia Girl Talks, a lifestyle podcast centered around personal growth, wellness, entrepreneurship, social issues and stories from South Sudanese perspectives.

The Proverb says: "Mix yourself with the grain and you will be eaten by the pigs."
African proverbs are a beautiful way of looking at life and the world around us. The proverb above is from South Africa, and it's a reminder that we should be careful about the company we keep. It's important to associate with people who will lift us up and help us achieve our goals. With that said, African proverbs are also a great way to start a conversation. They're a perfect Icebreaker, and they can help you learn more about someone's culture and beliefs. If you don't know what to say, try starting with an African proverb. You never know where the conversation will take you.
